Agreeing to these terms
By using PEP or PEP Kids (the "apps") you agree to these terms. If you set up PEP Kids for a child, you agree to them for that child too. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.
Who can use PEP
- PEP is for parents and guardians who are adults where they live.
- PEP Kids is for children, and must be set up and paired by a parent or guardian using PEP.
- You're responsible for the family you create, including the kids you add and any parent you invite.
Your account
Keep your sign-in and your grown-up PIN to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
What PEP does and doesn't do
PEP uses Apple's Screen Time to limit the apps you choose, and step counts from the iPhone and Apple Health to decide how much time is earned.
- Step counts come from the device and can be wrong or late.
- Screen Time limits are enforced by iOS. We can't promise they'll work every time, on every device, or that a determined kid won't find a way around them.
- PEP is a tool to help families. It doesn't replace a parent's judgement, and it isn't medical or fitness advice.
Fair use
Don't misuse the apps: no breaking or probing our servers, no using someone else's account, no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, and no using PEP to harm or watch anyone.
Our content
The apps, their design, the PEP name and the mark belong to Play Earns Play. You may use the apps for your family; you may not copy or resell them.
Changes and ending
We may change the apps or these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using PEP and delete your data whenever you like.
Warranty and liability
The apps are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for what happens when a limit doesn't apply or a step count is wrong. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Apple
These terms are between you and Play Earns Play, not Apple. Apple's standard licence for App Store apps also applies, and Apple has no duty to support the apps.
